Haggis Tasting Lunch

  • Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada (map)

Every year, the tradition of savouring the famous Scottish dish, haggis, takes place before the St. Andrews Day dinner. This highly-anticipated event is a feast for the senses, as the distinctive aroma of the haggis fills the air, whetting appetites and spurring conversation. Participants eagerly gather to witness the unveiling of the haggis, which is ceremoniously presented before being skillfully sliced. With each taste of the savoury and flavorful haggis, attendees are transported to the ruggedly beautiful landscapes of Scotland, and the hearty traditions that have endured for generations. Board members, advisory members, special guests and those attending the flag-raising are invited to join the Haggis Tasting Lunch.
